In Avalor you can speed up your travel a lot! This simple screenshot will explain how you can do so by creating decent or good infrastructre for you or others to use!

Creating a dirt path with your shovel will create the effect of Speed1 when the player moves over those blocks.

Placing any block on top of a redstone block will give the effect of Speed2 when the player walks over those blocks.

Other speeds buffs such as potions, armor sets stack with roads.
